New Horizons Computer Learning Centers to Host Annual Technology Event, TechKNOWLEDGEy 2011: Get Your Head in the Clouds


October 10, 2011 – New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of Detroit, part
of the world’s largest IT training company, announced today that will host its sixth annual
technology expo, TechKNOWLEDGEy 2011: Get Your Head in the Clouds, on Wednesday,
October 26, 2011, at its headquarters location in Livonia, Mich.

TechKNOWLEDGEy 2011 is a free, one-day event aimed at helping business and technology
professionals understand how various cloud computing technologies can assist them in running
their businesses more effectively and efficiently. The event will include sessions on a variety of
cloud-focused topics, including cloud computing basics, virtualized storage, software licensing,
and Microsoft products focused on cloud computing productivity and management, such as
Office 365, SharePoint, Lync, Windows Intune and Dynamics CRM.

New Horizons has partnered with a number of technology leaders for this event, including
AvePoint, C/D/H, Dell, Red Level Networks, Rightpoint, SoftwareONE, The TM Group, and
VDS. Automation Alley, the leading technology business association in Southeast Michigan, will
hold its member orientation at the event. Also participating will be the International Association
of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) – Michigan Chapter and the Livonia Chamber of
Commerce.

The event will take place 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers,
14115 Farmington Road, Livonia, Mich. Attendees are encouraged to register in advance and
arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. to check in. Continental breakfast, lunch and afternoon
snacks will be provided for attendees at no charge. Those who attend at least two breakout
sessions at the event will be eligible to participate in a drawing for prizes such as a Microsoft
Xbox 360, Dell Inspiron Mini, Amazon Kindle™, Microsoft software, New Horizons training
and much more.
